Awearness On Campus

Supporting L U Students Express Freedom of Speech

Be Vegan
Abomination

Leeds University has been a profitable venue for the Farmers market which takes place every Monday, which includes the roasting of at least one large corpse. The sight of the corpse is enough to evoke disgust and even fear from sensitive bypasses. Of course we do not encourage the breeding, slaughter and consumption of any sentient being, but the fact they are roasting pigs makes it even more offensive than it may otherwise be, especially to our Muslim and Jewish brethren, there is also a growing number of Jewish and Muslim vegans in solidarity with other advocates of non-violence, Hindu’s and Buddhists.

VeganTherefore, we ask people of kinds to unite, and help us promote non-violence, on campus and beyond by signing this petition. Students have also expressed interest in the Palestinian Animal League (PAL) and the great work they are doing with Children, Parents and Students in Palestine (Soon to visit in Leeds).

We have had all kinds of constructive debate we people passing by, many of whom have showed support, others a little gob smacked, but it is time to wake up and not be so complacent with violence and destruction. Hence, in addition to questions of cruelty, and offence this has enabled us to provide valuable information to students about the increased health risks associated with meat and dairy, not only to fellow humans and earthlings but to the planet on the whole.
